Copyrights In China
The "Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China" is a Chinese national legal document approved by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China.

- Adopted at the 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh National People's Congress on September 7, 1990.
- The first amendment according to the "Decision on Amending the" Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China "of the 24th Session of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress on October 27, 2001;
- According to the second amendment of the "Decision on Amending the" Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China "at the 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress on February 26, 2010;
- On March 31, 2012, in accordance with the legislative work plan of the State Council, the National Copyright Administration drafted the "Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China" (revised draft) to solicit opinions from all walks of life, as of July 31, 2012.

China has acceded to international copyright-related conventions: Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works (accession in 1992); WIPO Copyright Treaty (accession in 1992);Convention for the Protection of Producers of Phonograms Against Unauthorized Duplication of Their Phonograms (accession in 1992)
